Praying for the Nations
While much of Latin America identifies as Christian, many indigenous people groups — hidden in jungles, mountains, and remote villages — have never heard a clear presentation of the gospel. Some groups still lack Scripture in their native languages or access to vibrant, healthy churches. Your prayers are helping the gospel reach the forgotten corners of Latin America.
When Jesus gave the Great Commission to His followers (Matthew 28:18-20), it seemed impossible. Small, ordinary people were charged with reaching the entire world. But across history, God’s people have risen up — and the gospel has spread farther than the first disciples could have imagined.
We stand on the shoulders of generations who believed that God’s promises were true. The task is not finished — but the momentum is unstoppable. Through prayer, obedience, and bold faith, we can be part of seeing the Great Commission fulfilled in our lifetime. The nations are waiting — and Jesus is worthy.
You were made for more than survival. You were made to be part of God’s unstoppable, beautiful story — a story of redemption, restoration, and eternal hope. Right now, thousands of unreached people groups are still waiting to hear the name of Jesus for the first time. They are real people — families, children, leaders, mothers — living every day without access to the life-saving truth we often take for granted. You may never meet them face to face. You may never walk their streets, learn their languages, or sit at their tables. But through prayer, you can still touch their lives.
The Invitation
- Pray boldly for the nations.
- Pray consistently, even when you don’t see results right away.
- Pray expectantly, believing that God is already working behind the scenes.
You are not alone. You are joining a great cloud of witnesses — past, present, and future — who dare to believe that every nation will one day worship at the feet of Jesus.
The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. James 5:16

July Earthquakes in Guatemala
In early July, Guatemala experienced more than 150 earthquakes and aftershocks with magnitudes ranging from 3.0 to 5.7. These events caused significant damage to buildings, road closures, and left many people without utilities. One of the hardest-hit areas was Santa María de Jesús, where one of our churches is located. The roads there were blocked by debris, making it impossible to access the area. Two families sought refuge in the church due to damage to their homes.
Everyone is safe; food and water are being delivered to Santa Maria. They will soon begin estimating the cost of home repairs. Thank you, CRI, for keeping us as informed as possible.
