Partners in Missions is assisting in a new ministry in two locations in Northeast Louisiana, teaching English to Spanish-speaking people and Spanish to English-speaking people. Our long-term objective is to make disciples of them, for we use bilingual Bibles as textbooks.
The tenth anniversary of our pastors’ conferences in Guatemala is February 19-20.

The Tecpan Church in the mountains of Guatemala celebrated 53 years of ministry on December 8, 2024. The church was always crowded with a strong congregation whenever I visited.
> “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”

Otto graduated from 6th grade on December 10, 2024. He lives in a single-parent household with his mother, who has health issues that limit her ability to work, as well as three siblings.
Otto is a very talented young man with artistic abilities. In October, we gave him a gift without knowing much about his background. We bought him a drawing kit and were pleasantly surprised to discover that art is his favorite hobby. It’s amazing how God guided us to choose the perfect gift for him.
Here is a letter he recently sent to his sponsor:
“My name is Jose Ottoniel Ramas Mendez. I am 13 years old and live in Santiago Atitlan. I am writing this letter with much love and gratitude for your support this year. I graduated in the 6th grade and hope to have a bright future for me and my family. I hope I can see you one day.”
