Kids in Krisis News
My first visit
Mimi’s House has had another adoption! This one is bittersweet for me. Leo was the first baby I held during my first visit to Guatemala when he was just a few months old. Each time I returned, I looked forward to seeing him again and always tried to take a few pictures with him. I will miss seeing him on my visits, but I know he will thrive with a family and a home of his own!
Leo’s new family
Prince of Peace recently celebrated the salvation of four girls and performed six baptisms, which included four girls and two team members. They have also introduced new extracurricular classes: sewing, guitar, and keyboard music.
Santa Maria Update
In May, our Santa Maria students received new shoes. Each student wrote a short letter to share more about themselves. Your generous donations may help them achieve their goals!
Translation: I am 15 years old, in 10th grade. I’m very happy. I love my family. I love church and love studying. I like going to church and school. When I grow up I want to be a police officer and help other people.
Translation:
- I am 9 years old
- I love my family
- I like playing soccer
- When I grow up I want to be a nurse
Good News
Recently, the Kemuel Church of God in Guatemala held a baptism service where several individuals took an important step in their faith by being baptized.
